ADCP classes begin January

Apply your work training and past college credit toward a bachelor’s degree in a low-cost, hands-on academic program based on your needs and schedule.

Through the Adult Degree Completion Program (ADCP) at the University of Arkansas – Fort Smith, non-traditional students in the workforce can advance their career by earning a college degree through a streamlined educational experience.

The Adult Degree Completion Program is:

AFFORDABLE   Prepare for the next step of your life with affordable options.

HANDS - ON  A dedicated advisor will guide you every step of the way, from an introductory course your first semester to receiving your diploma.

PERSONALIZED  A mix of in-person and online classes helps accommodate your busy life so you can earn your degree while working.

Eligibility

To be eligible for the ADCP, students must:

  • Be at least 25 years of age.
  • Have at least five years of work experience.
  • Have more than 30 hours of college credit.
  • Have never earned a bachelor’s degree.

Note: UAFS will consider those interested in the program who do not meet all eligibility requirements on a case-by-case basis.

Turn Work Experience Into College Credit

UAFS uses a nationally recognized method of awarding college credit for your past experience, whether it's from work, seminars, military education, or training/certificate programs.

To accelerate degree completion, each student who applies for the program will submit a portfolio of past work for review by the ADCP director. Credit can be awarded so you don’t have to take courses on what you already know.
