Computer Graphics Technology (CGT, formerly known as CADD)

Two Year Program

  • 31 College Credit Hours

  • Morning & Afternoon Options

  • Learn to use computers to create technical drawings

This two-year program provides students the opportunity to study in the UAFS state-of-the-art computer graphics technology lab in the Baldor Technology Center. Students begin by learning traditional methods of board drafting and progress to the use of high-tech equipment to produce engineering and digital graphics.

Digital design is a growing industry in the region, and students within the CGT program will learn to use the computer software needed to create and animate images. This skill can be used in the workplace in the fields of architecture and video production to design animated movies, video games, commercials and digital walkthroughs.
